How often do you call out?

Another question that we frequently ask is in regards to dependability. How often were you late to work in the last year? How often did you call out from work last year? And in what circumstances would you actually be calling out? It’s really important to know how to handle a situation. Of course, scenarios come up in the private lives that prevent us from getting to work on time. But if you handle this in a professional manner, that’s the most important thing. Make sure to reach out to your supervisor and let them know that you’re on your way and give them an approximate time so that they can make a decision on whether or not to have another caregiver step in for you. If you’re calling out, explain the situation. If you’ve been sick for a few days, try to stop by the doctor and grab a doctor’s note so that way, your employer knows that you truly were sick and you do have the support needed.
