Intentional engagement is important. The career center focus must be right at the beginning of the student’s education. The students don’t have enough time to prepare if they wait until their senior year. It is very important that intentional strategies are in place to work with the student from the very beginning of their education. Seniors who wait until they have almost completed their 120 credit hours will be in a bad position without career preparation from the beginning.
