How to Avoid Burnout as a Career Counselor

Reading

It is important to balance work and well-being so you can be more focused on the things you do. It is easy to work yourself into a stupor. You must find a balance between work and well being.

To find this balance you must understand your why. Your why is what motivates you to work, it is the reason behind your passion, the fuel that keeps you feeling interested and motivated. Pay attention to the times you’ve been excited to get up in the morning and learn what brings you that feeling.

You can reduce the burnout of your employees and co-workers by recognizing their contributions and connecting with them 1-on-1. Give people work that they want to do instead of forcing people to do tasks that others might actually enjoy.

Tips

  1. Learn to balance work and well-being

  2. Understand your why

  3. What excites you to get up?
