There is a labor shortage. What can we do to get people to come back to work? Well, there were issues before Covid. Covid has forced people to re-evaluate what is important to them. Many people are choosing not to work the same way they did before. To find employees you will have to be more creative than before.
Hotels need to use social media and get a new crop of people excited to work in hospitality. Interview your employees and show real people that work there and how they feel. This kind of endorsement goes further when it is from real employees. Remember that hotels are usually the secondary reason for a client. The client often is visiting a nearby destination so you should integrate these destinations into your social media plan.
Tips
- Hospitality is experiencing a labor shortage
- Hotels must find employees in more creative ways
- Social Media is necessary to inspire a new generation of people to get excited to work in hospitality
