Find Out What Drives You
It is important to take some time before you choose a major. You really want to figure out what each major means to you in terms of career. What are the benefits of that career to your life? What is the nature of the work? Will you be solving problems or repeating tasks? These are the kinds of questions you should ask yourself while deciding on a major.
Don’t make your decision without taking a class or two and exposing yourself to the degree. Remember that it is totally fine to take a year or so to figure out what you want to major in. After all, there are plenty of general education classes that all majors require.
