Question: What have you learned working at restaurants?
“Well, in every position I’ve had I’ve gained some transferable skills. One of those skills is communication. Communication skills are very important in a restaurant to be able to keep a team working smoothly. I’ve learned to be an active listener which means listening and then stating what it is I understood.
An active listener also asks questions when something feels vague or confusing. Another skill is interacting positively with my fellow team mates. This positivity helps keep the team productive!”
