In this extension, you will elevate your presentation into a professional slideshow, ready to be shared through a shareable link or embedded into a website. The key to enhancing your presentation is adding transitions, which are effects that dictate how one slide shifts to the next during the slideshow. These transitions are crucial in making your presentation appear more engaging and polished for your audience. Start by signing in to your Google account and returning to your original project. There are numerous transition options available, such as Fade, Slide from Right, and Flip. Select a transition that complements the content and audience of your presentation, especially if you’re introducing yourself to a potential employer, where the transition should be professional and not detract from your content. Then, adjust the transition’s speed and preview your presentation in Present mode, exiting once you’ve finished reviewing.
After creating your presentation, consider how you’d like to share it. If you opt to embed the presentation into your website, it becomes a part of the site, visible to anyone with access, so use this option judiciously. You’ll have the choice to set the slideshow to start automatically when someone visits your site and to restart after finishing. Upon publishing, you’ll receive an embed code to place into your website. Alternatively, you might prefer to share your presentation through email or social media. In this case, select the Publish option to generate a link that you can share with your intended audience, ensuring that only those with the link can view your presentation. Now, it’s your turn to bring your presentation to life: add transitions between slides, fine-tune the speed, preview in Present mode, and then decide whether to embed your presentation into a website or create a shareable link for wider distribution.
