When choosing a major the course catalog is going to be a fantastic tool. Before you choose your major the catalog lets you see the requirements of every major. You might find yourself changing your mind after you look at the classes you will be taking. Luckily you do not have to choose a major right away.

You can start by getting general education classes out of the way which will give you some time to figure out which major you want to pick. General education classes allow you to explore the subject matter and identify what you are interested in and what you are not interested in.

Tips

  1. The course catalog contains all classes available to enroll in

  2. Consider the requirements of each major

  3. General education classes give you time to decide your specialty
