Once you register as a pharmacist you have many options. You could work in a community pharmacy, an industrial pharmacy, or even academic options. There are also forensic pharmacists, nuclear pharmacists, and many other kinds. If you are interested in developing new drugs, this part of the industry is called research and development. R&D jobs often involve lots of number crunching and data anayltics so they are great for students who enjoy mathmatics and science.
