Previewing and publishing your website are crucial steps in making your online presence known. Previewing allows you to see what your website will look like once it’s live on the internet, giving you the opportunity to make any necessary changes before the official launch. Carefully review your site during the preview, checking for any spelling or grammatical errors and verifying that all the information is correct and up-to-date. If you spot anything amiss, exit the preview mode and make the required adjustments. It’s also a good idea to share your site with a friend, classmate, or family member for feedback. Depending on the permissions you grant, they can either edit the site or simply review it. Once you’re satisfied and have made any final tweaks, you’re ready to publish your website. Adjust your web address if needed, then go ahead and make your site live. Remember, your website can still be modified after publishing, but you’ll need to republish it for the changes to be visible online. If necessary, you also have the option to unpublish your site, removing it from the internet, with the possibility of republishing it later.

After your site is live, sharing it with others is key to increasing its visibility. Email is an excellent medium for spreading the word about your new website to those who might find it interesting or useful. Start by copying the link to your site. Then, open your Gmail account and compose a new email. Fill in the recipient’s email addresses, and craft a subject line that effectively communicates the main point or purpose of your message. Begin the email with an appropriate greeting, tailored to the formality of your relationship with the recipients. In the body of your email, briefly explain what your website is about, ensuring your message is polite, clear, and concise. Insert the link to your website within the email. Before sending, double-check for any errors or typos. Once you’re satisfied with your message, send it off to inform others about your newly launched website.
