Question: What skills and responsibilities does a caregiver need?
Example
Tierra Thornton: “You have the opportunity to take care of people who are no longer able to take care of themselves. This means you are responsible for their life. You have to become not only a chef but a homemaker and a business person. For 8 hours out of the day you are responsible for their happiness. Hopefully when they are sad you can be a light that brightens their day.”
Cheryl Thompson: “You are there for one reason and one reason only. To give care. By helping clients and helping your caregivers. We are a team. That is the only way we will be successful. The caregiver is as important as the care manager. The care manager gets the clients while the caregivers keep the clients.“
