The host is responsible for greeting visitors or guests in a welcoming and warm tone to make them feel right at home. It is one of the many ways to leave a positive impression on your clients and is the first step that should be taken. 

Decide on a formal but easy-to-say greeting that the eatery hosts can use. Discover if the client has any allergies or foods to avoid and express sincerity if there are any inconveniences. 

Hosts are there to comfort visitors and help familiarize them to the place. They also should assist any impaired or elderly visitors and help them fit right in. Furthermore, consistently make sure to grin.
