Jewelry & Aprons
Food handlers must remove jewelry from hands and arms. Only a plain wedding band is allowed. Aprons should always be removed when the employee leaves food-preparation areas.
Eating, drinking, smoking, and chewing gum or tobacco should not be allowed for certain tasks. These include preparing, serving, or working in food-prep areas.
