In this extension of your digital art project, you will enhance the presentation of your pixel art by removing unnecessary rows and columns from your spreadsheet, effectively framing your artwork. Begin by turning on the gridlines, which will help you clearly see the cells and determine which rows and columns are surplus to your image. Start with the rows; identify and delete any extra rows that exist beyond the boundaries of your artwork. While you have the option to delete rows individually, this approach can be quite laborious, especially if there are many rows to remove. A more efficient method is to delete a large number of rows in one go. To accomplish this, select the first row below your image that you wish to delete, then extend your selection to include all the rows down to the final row in your spreadsheet. By deleting these rows, you will effectively remove any empty space below your image, giving it a neat, framed appearance.

Next, focus on the columns. Similar to the rows, you will need to delete any extra columns that are flanking the sides of your image, which will help in centering your artwork and enhancing its visual impact. Once you’ve removed these unnecessary columns, the final step is to turn off the gridlines. This action will give your artwork a cleaner and more finished look, as the gridlines can be distracting and detract from the overall aesthetic. Now, it’s your turn to put these steps into practice: activate the gridlines, eliminate the extra rows beneath your image and the surplus columns on its sides, and then deactivate the gridlines. By following these instructions, you will effectively frame your pixel art, creating a more polished and visually appealing presentation of your creative work.
