Investments Should Make at Least 3% Anually

Reading

3% is a fairly standard, safe interest rate for investments. This includes safe investments like CDs and bonds, or risky investments, like stocks. If someone else owes YOU money, that is an asset you can add to your net worth, even if they can’t pay you off immediately. This is even true while you’re currently in debt, and if you’re careful enough, you can actually reinvest your debt into investments to earn a net-gain.

Tips

  1. 3% is the standard minimum your investments should make.
  2. CDs and Bonds are safe investments, stocks are not.
  3. You can have debt and invest at the same time.
