Reading
Student loans will be something a majority of American live with, ranging from just a few thousand dollars to hundreds of thousands of dollars. While these loans don’t have collateral– that is, you can’t repay them by giving back your education, they tend to have better APY because the government often helps insure the loan. These loans can also be subsidized by the government in which interest is paid off as a grant. Always choose subsidized loans over unsubsidized loans when given the option!
Tips
- Student loans vary from 1,000s to 100,000s!
- APY is lower due to government assistance, usually.
